le mariage heureux de Basti et de Nikki

[Here's an email from Basti that he sent me today. I took the liberty of making a slideshow for them using the pictures he had attached. Congratulations to the happy couple! We love you and miss you! ]

Attached herewith are photographs of the day of marriage of myself and my love, Nikki. We had the ceremony in the city hall of downtown San Diego at about noon of Friday, October 17th. We had a late brunch afterwards in this famous pancake place that turned out to have the best corned beef hash I’ve tasted instead. We had some fresh squeezed OJ for refreshments. Cool? No? Buon appetit. (do you notice I insert random foreign phrases here just like that?) Afterwards we had a sunset dinner, thanks to Mom and Dad, in the sky room of la valencia hotel in La jolla. Man that was nice, the view was spectacular. I’ll show you more pictures of the place next time. I had venison, which i didnt know was deer until the waiter told me, and nikki had the alaskan fish. Dinner was delicious, and mucho mucos gracias to our parents for that.. Arriba! We can’t wait to see you all. We hope we can make it back home by New Year’s.
